Understanding the Problem
The ESL company’s website and brand identity were outdated and inconsistent, and the existing website failed to effectively showcase their products and communicate key product details, making it difficult to convey professionalism, approachability, and innovation to potential customers and partners.

Defining Goals, Audience, and Brand Tone
Partnered with the Marketing Manager to clarify goals, audience segments, brand tone, and business priorities.
Identifying Gaps and Opportunities
Reviewed the existing visual identity, messaging, website, and marketing materials to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and opportunities for a more cohesive brand experience.
Evaluating Visual Trends in Retail Tech
Analyzed competitor branding and websites to understand visual norms and trends in retail technology, uncovering opportunities to differentiate the brand.

Key Learnings

This project taught me a lot about brand strategy and translating it into digital experiences. I learned how small changes to visual identity, typography, and layout can dramatically improve clarity and customer perception. Collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager reinforced the importance of aligning design decisions with business goals and target audience needs. I also strengthened my skills in crafting customer-focused interfaces, balancing aesthetics with usability, and ensuring a cohesive brand experience across the website and other touchpoints.
